We understand that you can have questions about your fitting or your alterations.

We made it easier for you by answering the most frequently asked questions. If your question is not answered here, do not hesitate to call us or send us an email.

We recommend calling us to schedule your first fitting 5 months before your wedding to ensure the day and time you desire is available.

You should expect 2-3 fittings before your final pick up date which would usually be the week of the wedding.

We will steam your dress with pleasure although it is a small additional cost. We steam your gown inside and out the day before final pick up is scheduled. During transportation or storage of the gown prior to the wedding small wrinkles may occur. We recommend a handheld steamer for final touch ups on your big day.

Please  bring your beautiful self, your gown, shoes, undergarments and any accessory that may be part of the alteration process.

We will provide you with a quote before starting the alterations. Payment is required upon last fitting. We accept cash, debit or credit.

  1. Bust and Waist alterations – Taking in/out side-seams or back-seam in order to make a wedding dress fit a bride. Wedding gowns are usually made to allow the side-seams to be taken out up to 3 inches or 2 sizes (For example: size 10 to size 14).
  2. Shoulders – Usually shoulder seam can be taken in to bring up a gown.
  3. Hem – According to the height of the bride and the shoes she is planning to wear the length of a dress can be shortened.
  4. Bustle – Many wedding dresses have not detachable long trains. In order for the bride to move freely at the reception our seamstress can add a bustle when doing the alterations. Which means attaching the train to the back of the dress.
